Elementary Chorus Teaching Job – After-School Program at Park Day School, Oakland (Fall 2025)

 California Arts Enrichment is hiring an energetic and encouraging chorus teacher for an after-school elementary choir at Park Day School in Oakland. The class meets once a week on Tuesdays from 3:45–4:45pm and is open to 1st–4th grade students. The focus will be on developing healthy singing habits, musical literacy, and joyful group performance.

We’re looking for someone who can make music fun while building a solid musical foundation. Prior experience directing young children in group singing is strongly preferred. There is a possibility of an additional one hour singing class for middle schoolers on the same day from 4:45-5:45pm.

  • Rate: $100 per hour

  • Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:45–4:45pm

  • Dates: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, 11/11, 11/18

  • Grade Level: 1st–4th

  • Location: Park Day School – 360 42nd Street, Oakland, CA 94609
