Beatmaking Teaching Job – After-School Program at Park Day School, Oakland (Fall 2025)

 California Arts Enrichment is seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy beatmaking instructor for an after-school enrichment class at Park Day School in Oakland. This class is designed for 5th–8th grade students and will run once a week on Wednesdays from 3:45–4:45pm, covering fundamentals of music production using software like GarageBand or Soundtrap.

We’re looking for a reliable and creative teacher who can introduce students to rhythm, sampling, loops, and song structure in a fun, engaging environment. Prior teaching experience with middle school students and a passion for modern music styles is a must.

  • Rate: $100 per hour

  • Schedule: Wednesdays, 3:45–4:45pm

  • Dates: 9/17, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3

  • Grade Level: 5th–8th
